Deanery View is consistently praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and tasteful decoration. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, cosy atmosphere, and the property's location, which is ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and nearby attractions. The enclosed garden and thoughtful touches, such as dog bowls and a Christmas tree, add to the charm. While there are minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and well-maintained. One isolated comment mentioned a small cleanliness issue, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standards experienced by guests.

The property's location is highly regarded, with guests enjoying its proximity to the Yorkshire Dales, Pennines, and the coast. The village setting and nearby attractions like Raby Castle are appreciated, although one review mentioned limited local amenities.

Comfort is a standout feature in the reviews, with guests finding the property cosy and the beds super comfortable. The spaciousness and homely feel contribute to the overall comfort, despite a single mention of a heating system issue.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and thoughtful, including a secure garden and a variety of kitchen appliances. However, some minor maintenance issues like tricky doors and worn oven markings suggest room for improvement.

Guests are delighted by the thoughtful touches, such as dog bowls and festive decorations. While these gifts enhance the experience, it is important to note that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The courtyard was ideal for our little dachshund being completely safe and secure. The house is furnished to a very high standard with quality furniture and fittings and the beds are so comfortable

Only downside is lack of facilities in the village , would advise doing a food shop before arriving , as only a very small spar shop in the village . Also need to drive to find restaurants /take away goods , as tea shop only open 10-3pm. Other than that pleasant stay
