Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the property to be clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned specific areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as the shower head and kitchen appliances. These comments suggest that while generally satisfactory, there is room for attention to detail in cleaning.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful scenery, and proximity to local attractions. Guests enjoyed the rural setting and the walks around the property's lake, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration.

Guests generally found the property comfortable, particularly noting the quality of the beds. However, there were comments about the lounge furniture being uncomfortable and the beds being too low, which suggests that while the property is comfortable for most, there is a variance in guest preferences.

The property is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of WiFi. Nonetheless, guests have suggested the addition of a proper freezer, tumble dryer, and more comfortable lounge furniture. The lack of a secure area for dogs was also noted, indicating that some facilities could be enhanced.

The owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of welcome gifts and the return of a forgotten phone charger. It is important to note that such personal touches are appreciated but may not be guaranteed with every stay.

Sounded like a pack of them. Very concerned for their welfare as it’s not natural for dogs to bark so excessively for such long periods of time. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and too soft - the single beds very also very low. Lounge settee and chairs very uncomfortable and cushions just kept sliding off. Saucepans not fit for use - the interior coating was peeling and left partials in your food. Property was advertised as one level but interior steps meant this was not the case. The setting and scenery were fabulous and a very beautiful location but could not be enjoyed for the reasons mentioned above. We went home more tired and exhausted than when we arrived. So would not recommend as a place to stay.

Set in a beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay and would return again.

.exactly as expected. The barn was just right for us, two adults with a small dog. Lovely views and an ideal base for touring around Herefordshire and Momouthshire, Wye valley and Forest of Dean. One small issue, the lounge leather furniture isn’t the most comfortable but the new shower room is great ! We had a very memorable 3 day stay and will definitely book again!
